A Student From IPR, Peking University Attended 2010 Annual Meeting of
Canadian Population Society
Sanjun Chen, Ph.D Candidate from IPR, Peking University, attended the
2010 annual meeting of Canadian Population Society (CPS) and made a
presentation of “Life Expectancy of Persons with Disabilities in China”
in the session of “health and mortality”.
2010 annual meeting of CPS was held from 31 May to 3 June in Concordia
University, Montreal, Quebec. It included CPS general meeting and
sessions. The sessions were in six themes: fertility, migration and
mobility, health and mortality, marriage and family and social cohesion,
immigration and immigrant adaptation, demographic data and methodology.
Researchers from German, Iran, India and China attended the meeting too.
